DaCorta Hardware is a retail, commercial and industrial supplier of hardware, fasteners, Benjamin Moore Paint and building materials to the New York area. Founded in 1946, DaCorta Hardware offers friendly, local, personalized service, free delivery, a broad product selection and competitive prices to consumers and businesses.

Pride in Accomplishment

In 1946 Albino DaCorta established DaCorta Hardware to be the local communities one stop destination for hardware.

Through the years Albino expanded the business and in 1962 forged a relationship with Benjamin Moore Paints to become an authorized retailer of Benjamin Moore Paint.

Years later as Albino’s son John entered the business, the company again expanded by acquiring a vacant 6,000 square foot property in which the company expanded into the lumber and building materials business. The yard expansion made DaCorta Hardware a complete destination for not only hardware and paint but now drywall, lumber, masonry, roofing and building materials as well.

In 2008 DaCorta Pro was established, cementing the DaCorta tradition of serving professionals and businesses with exclusive services such as credit terms, job site delivery, dedicated sales representatives, job and purchase order tracking, professional product sourcing and contractor pricing.

DaCorta Hardware plans to continue to do what it has done best for over 70 years, providing the community with a destination for competitively priced supplies and superior service.

Price is Something we Take Seriously

DaCorta Hardware realizes that value is the driving force behind where consumers shop. As a company that sells to retail, commercial and industrial trades “price” is something we take very seriously. It is common for some businesses to sell “loss leaders” at prices that make their competitors look foolish. Often these promoted items do not reflect the true cost of shopping at one retailer vs. the other. DaCorta Hardware conducts a specific market research regarding item pricing and utilizes industry based benchmark pricing provided by our extensive network of suppliers to make sure that we offer fair, balanced and competitive pricing across our inventory. In most cases if a consumer or business was to purchase all of their hardware, paint and building or maintenance supply items at DaCorta Hardware vs. a competitor they would find that our pricing is very similar to that of a big box store.
